Such a wealth of great architecture in Winnipeg. They should be able to sell downtown living far easier than than Calgary, Edmonton etc. Just not there though, for whatever reason.

I'd say it already rivals quite a few American cities with larger populations.

I'm not sure why the water looks so swampy. That's a man made pond with only a foot and a half of water in it.

Ya the colour reminds me of the Huangpu river in Shanghai, which also has murky looking water. It provides a nice contrast to all the blue glass in the background though.
