I definitely didn't know that. I stand corrected, thank you.

Well, I dunno if you're asking this, because it's been discussed.

There's no market nationally for grocery expansion, never mind downtown wpg

Crane is due mid/late July, I heard. As far as 2021, well, REIT's are conservative bunches. Hopefully sooner.

Let's face it: with online grocery delivery becoming a huge thing, it's even going to further diminish the demand for a grocery store. It's not like there aren't options that are close by. You have two Safeway stores- one in St. B and one in Osborne Village. Plus, you have Family Foods next to the Don. It's not like there isn't any access to a grocery store downtown.

Society is reverting back to the old days. Get your milk delivered, get your ice delivered.

Not news papers or mail though. Sheesh, what am I cave man?!

Fixing a damaged roof would be far more expensive than a couple truckloads of OSB.

First structural column....awesome!

The site is already taller than it has been for 40 years.

Why is no one working today? There isn't a single person on site. Do they not work on Fridays before long weekends, or the day after an overnight rain?

Just the one column rising above grade so far...they haven't done much to this one since I took the pic. Right now the focus is on the elevator shafts...a couple of wooden forms are rising up. Maybe they are preparing this area for the crane base?
