Good angle though that sports field looks like a prison yard. The players are even wearing prison colours orange for inmates blue for officers.

We like to call it a Spire at this point

They started construction on it October 2009, while it's off the U/C list the tower still isn't 100% complete. Almost 9 years later..........

They claim it needed to be used to install the permanent fixture for window washing and maintenance. The original supplier of the maintenance unit backed out during construction and they had to find a replacement. It was supposed to be delivered at the end of last year.... still there.

Hmm. Is there such a thing as 100% complete? Homeowners will be working on their units long after all the developer's deficiencies are addressed.

The condo took possession in 2016. The BMU is large, visual deficiency but, I know condos older than L Tower that still have deficiencies to be addressed.

Most home owners don't have cranes perched on top of their dwellings years after moving in still. The top of this tower has yet to be fully completed. You just love to argue I get it.....sad but what ever floats your boat WS.

There used to be. I've worked in commercial/ institutional construction long enough to remember when projects were absolutely 100% done when they were turned over.

Residential construction- even high rise apartments, have always been lower quality projects as long as I can remember. But in the last ten years or so it seems like completion has been exceptionally difficult, Moreso in Edmonton than any other jurisdiction I've worked in. I did a few condition assessments or some larger, newer apartment projects in downtown Edmonton for my last company and it was pretty shocking both how unfinished the projects were and how poorly the facilities had been maintained post-construction

Lol homeowners working on their units after developer deficincies are addressed isnt the same thing as a damn crane on top of your condo years after opening. Cant believe i had to even state that.

It was delivered at the end of May. I saw them lifting it up.
