If I remember correctly, the parking deck that was built last year i was to replace the deck that is now being demolished. I don't think any building is planned to go there.

The long-term plans are to realign Capitol Avenue around Liberty Plaza so that it's connected to the State Capitol grounds without an intervening road for public safety. I believe Capitol Avenue will stay put in the short-term until there's more defined plans for the roundabout proposed at Memorial as well as the proposed plans for the capped park extending over the Connector.

If I’m not mistaken, they rebranded this to Icon Buckhead. This is gonna make a huge impact.

36 floors with that ornate top will be very tall I would assume...

It’s already impacting the skyline coming off 400 from the north.

I’m still pissed that Mandarin Oriental wasn’t built ON Peachtree. These two buildings together would have given so much presence on Peachtree.

It looks like there have been some changes to the design of Icon. The construction photo shows balconies wrapping around the corner closest to Peachtree and there doesn't appear to be any on the end of the building. The rendering shows a different scenario.

Icon definitely will have big time presence on Peachtree. Mandarin Oriental will stand in its shadow.

^bout a 3rd of the way there on floors if i'm seeing correctly, plus an additional 4-5 stories for the crown height. yeah this one's gonna make a big impact for sure.
