Not bad...doesn't suck. I want to see more renderings than what the Tribune has. Have they gotten to the timeline yet?

Beautiful. Now if they could just scale it up 20% or so I'd be pleased as f***ing Punch.

Better than expected. Kinda wish the towers were swapped and the taller was where the shorter is, idk why. Would the towers be built at the same time? is there still gonna be a underground parking? I mean they got the earth retention for it. Construction timeline/GC (wouldn't be surprised if its Lend Lease)?

EDIT: Is that curved glass?????

First Glance: Meh
Further Inspection: Okay
Now: Beauty.

Will fit in With LSE (fingers crossed it happens) Trump, Vista, Tribune Tower, Aon, Willis in the middle. John Hancock, OSC on the north edge. South Loop on the South end with it's skyline on its own. Chicago will have probably the most beautiful skyline in the world along with Shanghai (my opinion) in the next decade or two.

They are very reminiscent of the old Waldorf proposal.

You guys were rather easy to please lol

I'm completely and totally whelmed...

Very forgettable designs imo. Only good part is the taller tower ended up being 1100 and much sleeker than I was expecting. Short tower is god awful though and the base is pretty nasty. 5/10 overall, so a bit worse than Vista.

I like it and it's better than I expected, but not amazing. It has a bit of an 80's ish look to it?

Wow.... I honestly can’t tell if you’re joking or not.....

If you’re not, I don’t know what to say. You’re entitled to your opinion. But I couldn’t disagree with you more. These rendering are amazing. Tall, detailed, elegant, so far good materials, fit into the skyline perfectly. Different than our other buildings, but still blend and mesh well. Granted, they’re just renderings. But I can help thinking, what would you be satisfied with?

Burj Khalifa meets 111 W 57th and has two children. The crowns are a bit too PoMo for my liking but the towers are pretty fantastic.

Tribune looks majestic and there is something about that sleek/tall/thin design combined with the materials they will be using that makes it look futuristic. A shape unlike any other in this city. The towers unveiled tonight are nice though. Much better than I expected. I would give it a 7/10. Pleasantly surprised. I just hope they build the supertall first.
