Ok, Vancouver needs a super tall the height of those cranes. That would look amazing.

Something that tall would clearly block the mountains lol

We like tabletopping and hate views of mountains (in this case, clouds) blocked. No supertalls here pleeeeez.

The cranes are bout 200M, so nowhere near a supertall.

Given the higher location and height advantage of Burrard gateway just behind this building it will appear to be around that tall.

Maybe someone can do a render of what it would look like in that picture completed?

I scaled rendering of a 1000+ anywhere in Downtown would be awesome to see, just for curiosity sake.

Corner of Nelson and Burrard, where Butterfly is going - that be wild.

I could swear that I've seen a 3D rendering of the Burj Khalifa in NEFC, posted here possibly.

EDIT: There is this reddit post, but I remeber something Google Earth based.

I can’t wait for those cranes to come down so I can see the mountains again... forgot what mountains even look like...

Agreed, it's troublesome that the city allows cranes to encroach on view cones.

Smile once again, thank you for this set of pictures

Particularly interesting pix, because inaddition to the spiral of the building, this shows it from more candid, angles, This building will be high-profile, have a real citywide 'presence'.
The photo taken from Burrard Street, for example, just shows how it gives that hunk of extra density, furthering the 'big city' feeling Vnancouver's always getting more of.
If you're old enough, or have seen photos and maps, remember that same area in the 1980s or before then look now.
Please excuse the 'wobbly' off-topic aspect. This IS about VH, though, in every sense.

Thanks!

The last exposed floorplate STILL isn't the full rectangle.
The one under the forms must be the first rectangular one.

The balcony frames/railings specifically on the Granville side that are right against the windows annoy me. It clutters it up
