Pretty big difference.
I dont think it means Brentwood as in Amazing Brentwood. Think it means Brentwood area precinct. I get my info mostly from this forum. Assuming this is correct, than Solo 3 at $600000 is very reasonable.

Ha! $600K for a — shoebox in the suburbs is nothing but reasonable. It continues to be a joke what people are ready to pay for tiny poorly constructed new condos in this town.

Which floor level does the 3bdr start from?

It's only 41-42 stories max - with 8-38 and 39-42 being the top floors.
Details on plans here / pricing. Sales should already be starting this week.

I'm hearing $750K one bed is more realistic at this point

Because they get sold to the company's Executives at steep discounts and not for sale to the public.

Wow, don't know where you get your information from? Assuming you are correct, that would put the price at $1177/ sf. Pretty insane !! That means Brentwood has more or less caught up with Metrotown. With recent announcement of UBC contributing to M line extension , full length of M line is a reality sooner or later. That means anyone working along Broadway corridor and UBC contemplating of buying would favor anywhere along M line rather than Expo line. That would push price in Brentwood even higher. My prediction anyway.

$1,200 PSF is the go forward number at Brentwood. Metrotown is expected to push into $1,300 on the next round of towers launched.

Jibes with this Globe and Mail (subscribers-only) piece about development at Surrey centre:

Quote:
Surrey’s $700 or so a square foot price to Brentwood, which is around $1,100 and New Westminster, which is about $900. Metrotown is around $1,200 and Joyce Station in Vancouver is around the same.
Shocking to me, as someone who lives here.

I am so fortunate to have purchased two years ago in the area. My unit cost $680 a square foot, with tax. If I was to buy today there would be no chance with the prices where they are now and the high demand in the area.

As for Cirrus it will nicely complement Stratus. Once complete all buildings will hopefully place each individual element in a state of balance.

scalpers

I see those who bought are already listed at 100k more. I just hope nobody would be that stupid to buy into them. I would like to see all those hundred who bought and want to turn a profit would not have any buyer for them. At such a high price already. 100k a week is better than the stock market. Lol.

This is totally wild.

Hindsight being 20/20, definitely regret not buying 2 - 2 bedroom when they were on presale for under $500,000

Don't want to be that guy but it would be nice to see more diversity in these line ups.

People of Chinese ancestry can't be "average Canadians"?

Code for: "Too many Asians"

I for one would also like to see more "diversity" at lineups going into the Cobalt and various brunch places in Kits, but that ain't going to happen and I'm not going to be a — about it.
