The biggest challenge I see keeping the DC Metro from getting HQ2 is the fact DC is made up of 2 States and the District of Columbia. Amazon has no intention of having offices in MD, VA and DC, so only one area will get the prize. It's hard to ask DC and MD citizens to pay higher taxes to fund regional transportation projects if VA is where Amazon lands. Lack of Regionalism is what cost DC the Olympics as well. I am curious to hear your thoughts on this.
