There’s a fatal crash on 17 in the town of Bonfield involving a tractor-trailer. The highway’s closed between 94 and 531. Please check out the video (periscope) posted under OPP North East for information on detour.
When opp says no detour, it can mean one of the following 3 possibilities:
(1) There really isn’t one;
(2) The detour’s so circuitous that one may as well wait for opp to clear the highway;
(3) There’s a detour, but it won’t be provincial roads - one must be very familiar with those side roads.
