[QUOTE=MovinOnUp;8158008]Would that happen to be this rendering? If the shoe (footprint) fits...

Easily the best of the Platte Street developments, if this comes to pass. Love it! I wonder will be going in the last remaining parking lot across the street, shown here.

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Denver...8278a36d6!8m2!3d39.7392358!4d-104.990251

Also, although I like the brick buildings to the north of the last parking lot (along the river), I wonder if a re-development could work there, such as adding a second floor all glass structure to the existing buildings.

Anyone who has seen the confluence lit up at night, does the light trickle down like rain or are all the lights permanently set in place?

The original design was far more innovative. Why try to "outshow" a beautiful stadium by simply duplicating its basic design elements and putting huge video screens on it? Ugh.

The original design was a very modern looking, but complementary design to fit in with both the surrounding neighborhood and the stadium.

Is this subject to design review? I hate it that they would simply duplicate one of the stadium towers as part of the new design. You could have more subtle ties to the old stadium without such blatant cloning.

More news on the RiNo Wynkoop project,

That picture at the top of the article is the concert venue under construction from what I can tell.

Are we even sure that this is an official design?

The studio7g website says that these renderings were prepared for Fentress and were posted October 18, 2017. Per DenverInfill, Stantec (formerly RNL Design) won the project, and they tweeted about it on 30 Nov 2017 with the previously seen images.

I love the balance of building up the "walls" along the streets, but still being wide open for those on foot to pass around and through.

I'll guess a 35-story condo tower (or possibly condos above a hotel).

My guess is it’s not under contract and this is all a lame and unsuccessful ploy to achieve some unrealistic outcome. How often does a parking lot owner call up the media to let them k ow a parking lot is under contract?

If it’s Buzz? Nothing is out of the realm of the possible.

The Giambrocco site in Rino at 3600 Wynkoop has flipped. New owners say there are no present plans to re-develop.

https://businessden.com/2018/04/23/rino-...m_term=0_e8b1506f0c-8c9374b268-148029773

That's a good reminder that during these boom cycles so much gets thrown against the wall to see what will stick. But a lot never gets developed.

Someday.

Here's the previously (now obsolete) released plans.

That's too bad.... I really liked that project. Although for all the projects being pitched in RiNo, a good amount of them have actually been able to get off the ground (Source Hotel, Flight at TAXI, The HUB, Catalyst, 4142 Wynkoop). That's actually a pretty large portfolio of infill going on up there right now.

On the WTC front, no activity on the site from a construction perspective. I think they are using one of the dirt lots as overflow parking for the Industry RiNo building while they re-do the parking lot on the east side of the Industry RiNo complex. I suspect when that is complete, they will begin construction....
