Personally I am sick to death of hearing about where, but most are now saying DC, or God forsaken Boston. I am sure our moronic idiot Casey Cagle screwed this up for Atlanta. But honestly you could not pay me enough to live in DC and especially Boston...The 100k promised for these jobs will not go far in either place..

Agreed with most of your post.

As I've said before, Boston would be the most anti-climatic choice for HQ2. ANYWHERE else besides Boston (if not Atlanta), ok, but I really want an underdog or red state city to land this prize.

Absolutely. I wasn't referring to Atlanta when I said underdog (I was thinkimg more along of line of cities like Pittsburgh or Nashville).

I may be partial but, if it's not Atlanta, I think NOVA would be an amazing choice. The access to amenities in the DC metro is wonderful. There is just so much to do here. The diversity of the area is a STRONG plus.

I will agree with you about the cost of living. I am assuming that most of these Amazon workers will probably be young. They may not be adverse to having roommates. If they "couple up" then maybe they can finally start to build something. Either that or live way out...and who wants to do that?
