1-1.5 levels for the tron tower to the north, replacing the existing surface lot. The rest probably for their future residential towers, because ugly aboveground parking is cheaper than underground.

Looks like that abomination was designed by a colorblind person on drugs with little or no regard to what makes good architecture. Ugh!

Not really. They managed to do a level underground across the street, and there's no LRT under the south 2/3 of the site. The part that they could do underground parking in is still twice as big as the Encore lot and they managed to get six levels down.

It's just more expensive
