I can confirm that Selig is working with the Midtown DRC on 1125 Peachtree. I saw a committee member holding a packet of documents from Selig titled "1125 Peachtree" at the DRC meeting on Tuesday as they came out of the non-public meeting immediately before the public meeting.

1105 West Peachtree LD permit was approved yesterday, so once they pay the fees, that one should be moving forward as well.

Most of the time the final review is handled administratively before it's officially submitted for permitting (which often involves a land disturbance permit before vertical construction gets approved for permitting). This is where developers can buy some time to allow architects/engineers to finalize the construction documents on buildings while pushing dirt around for a bit.

You can learn more about the process here: Altanta Permitting Process and Forms

Also regarding the BeltLine Design Review Committee - that's a different committee because they are evaluating compliance/approving variances for projects within the Beltline OVERLAY zoning requirements. But yes they are a bit different of an animal to deal with as well.
As clearly stated at the top of the form-- It is part of the Building Permitting process-- believe me I do this for a living-- If it changes, you have to resubmit an amended SAP document, which may or may not trigger another hearing, etc.

Before these get too outdated here are my Atlanta pictures from 2 weeks ago. Lili is missing because I posted that a few pages back. Please let me know if any of the images are misnamed.

Hope to find a reason to come back to Atlanta soon! A far better urban experience than my current city.

*drools* 1125 & 1105 could really change the feel of midtown. Hoping they both break ground soon.

ConstructDTLA, fantastic additions! Those are some great angles not post here normally.

These are great! NCR HQ looks bad-ass. Are you using a 16mm or 28mm lens. Great wide angle without distortion, great composition. Really gives me an all encompassing view that I can’t get driving by.
