The price tag is 300m for the Brocco tower and 500m for the BN office tower. I think the end result will be more than decent.

Broccolini hired NEUF Architects from Montreal for their last project, 628 St-Jacques.

According to WRC, zoning for this project has been approved, with an increase in the condo tower's height to 25 stories. The project will be known as "Garment Street" and will be built in two phases, with the office building incorporating the historic Huck Glove factory being the first phase.

I didn't realize that's a Broccolini project. It's just a cause to be even more worried until a design is actually released.

A retirement home with 5 millions dollars condos on the upper floors. it shouldn't be too shabby. At 37 stories, this will be the highest building in the western edge of downtown Montreal. Construction starts this summer.

I don't mind this at all. It's different for Montreal.

Edit: On second glance it needs to get rid of that bump out on the side. It literally looks like a —. I liked the recessed area near the crown until I saw the sack at the bottom. Now all I can see is a circumcised —.

No it’s not. Their Montreal projects are very good.

Brocco's Neo-Deco project on St-Jacques looks classy. And if they use the appropriate materials (no reason to believe they wouldn't) it will be even nicer than the renderings. Plus it's about to get some company, it will fit in well.

Hopefully we won't have to wait long for renderings and my concerns in regards to them pulling off a really tall tower that compliments the design standard set by Tour DE LA Bourse can be put to bed.

It's a scoop from greenlobster at mtlurb. He said it's south of R-L. Bureau en gros site is 80m max. More likely sites include Gare central, the Westcliff site at Square Victoria, CF lands or CP lands over Lucien Lallier

Exciting. I'm hoping it's gare centrale. I'm tired of seeing that 60's parking garage posing as the station's main entrance. It's embarrassing. That site would also fill in the huge gap that presently essentially breaks the skyline in two.

I'm calculating that you could go as high up as 207m on that lot as well.

I would take his "scoops" with a grain of salt. A lot, in fact, almost all of what he's said in the past 1-2 years has been completely false.

The last significant dealership is departing a rather large area just west of Downtown Edmonton. Expect a comprehensive redevelopment.
