I would tend to agree. If the refinery would allow it the track that crosses highway 46 could be extended to the CN main and CP main going north. Then build an underpass for highway 46. And one at Park Street. This does a few things:
1) Allows CN trains to not have to cross Winnipeg or Ring Road,
2) Uses existing Bridges already built over Ring Road,
3) Allows CP to not have to cross Ross Ave with long trains. Only shorter oil tanker trains to serve the customers close to McDonald Industrial,
4) Allows rebuilding of Ring Road and Winnipeg Street interchange with far greater ease.
5) Frees land along Winnipeg Street North.
6) Stops trains from crossing 9th Ave North into refinery.
So hopefully that is looked at.
