My favorite city, aside from Philly, is Chicago. It has the scale of New York, with the skyscrapers in quality, quantity, and height, but it's not as dense or crowded as New York. A lot of the skyscrapers, like a lot of the ones in Philadelphia, take up an entire block. Also like Philly, it had some great public art. I loved the museums I went to, Wrigley Field was great, and the observation decks were fabulous.

Anyway, here's the W, from 2 blocks away, and from Penn's Landing. Pardon if this has already been asked, but why is the glass going up there and not from the bottom up.

Many panels were measured incorrectly and they have to make new ones the right size

I'd think the top couple floors of this, exceeding the Ritz, should have some pretty sweet views in all directions.

^I wonder how many occupied floors, if any will be higher than RATR, based on this. Looks like the crown and maybe one floor are higher.

Great pics as usual TCO. Still no sign as to what's to cover that concrete wall.

I vote this is one of the most impressive photos ever placed in this Forum. The Lighting is just spectacular and really shows off the street density in the area.
BTW, based on your settings, you may need to scan Right to view the entire Image.

I agree, it's fantastic. I'd love to see that exact same shot post-completion of the W & CTC with everyone lit up & minus the cranes. It is one seriously beautiful skyline

Some of the lower floors not shown in the above shot have glass. Would it be odd to assume that the glass that's been placed on the north side won't be continued to the top?

Is it possible a mural wall is going in where there are no windows
