Also,

Little tidbit about that project at 3060 Brighton Blvd:

https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/2...s-AECOM-partner-major-Denver-development

For a refresher, there was an article on this back in November stating construction would begin second quarter this year:

https://www.bizjournals.com/denver/news/...se-project-planned-for-denvers-rino.html

Sounds like things are slowly moving forward with it.

A lot of this was in result of the $500 million + the taxpayers invested into Union Station. To get these figures again, we need another public investment. Like a train or subway from Cherry Creek to CDB, or finally fixing 16th street.

I know the expansion of the convention center was approved... does anyone have a time frame on when that will kick off ? I could see this kick starting the giant hotel part of block 162

Could also be an indicator of a reduction in the number of large new home developments - what do the numbers for the CSA or MSA look like for the same period? If only because it didn't feel like anything slowed down in 2016 or '17.

Remember, all of those estimates for previous years get revised each time a new estimate comes out:

These are truly awful photos - I don’t see how they let you get away with taking such images that caused the envy of thousands.

Awesone job, man.

Can I be your plus one for the Block 162 reveal party?

Northfield in Stapleton needs another 400-600 apartment units built on some of the existing parking lots. If Stapleton ain’t gonna have neighborhood retail it can at least have some more faux Main Street 🞵🞵🞵🞵.

Thought I'd post this on Tabor II from today's post:
https://www.denverpost.com/2018/03/22/two-tabor-denver/

Looks like the sq footage has been increased from 640,000 to 800,000.

The application with the city says 800,000 but the developer's website/brochure says 640,000 leasable. On DenverInfill, we chose to go with what the developer's marketing materials say. There is always a difference between gross and net building area but I doubt that would account for 160,000 SF worth considering the parking is already built.

It may also be that 640K SF is their current most likely scenario but they want the flexibility to update and upgrade that some?

Would've been cool to see some small neighborhood retail fronting the park, but the design is nice.
