Is that for real? Looks like a Sketchup fantasy illustration. Ugly bastardization of Absolute World towers.

Looks to be the lot on 109 Street adjacent to the WSP building on Jasper.

^ OK, that makes sense with the streetcar line. Nice project for that site, although I think less is more... it would look better as one such curvy statement tower rather than having twins somewhat awkwardly positioned like that.

Those look terrible. They don't look like a professional proposal, not even a massing mock up.

I can only hope those are placeholders... even still some generic massing model boxes would be a better selling point.

Oh Edmonton.

There's a distant vernacular usually being built there. Unfortunately, it's some bastardized Dubai PoMo. They seem to love it especially when it's glass over stucco. That matters more I guess

Century Park actually looks like a little pseudo-downtown. This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I like it... at least it's an attempt at establishing something that resembles urbanity in a very suburban setting. Better that than a bunch of identical towers-in-a-park.

On their own some of the towers are, shall we say, lacking, but put them all together and somehow it works. Architectural version of the cheerleader effect, maybe?

^Times Square and the shorter building in front will be 'The Louvre'.

The developer travels a lot and likes to bring ideas back.

Good lord, The Venetian, part deux. The rest is mostly harmless.

EDIT: I see Otacular and I are reading the exact same thing into that.

The Venetian is something else. My guess is he spends a lot of time in Toronto.

He seems to release a bunch of half-baked drawings every time he's trying to raise some capital. What is this the fourth go-around of images for the Cascadia site and Century Park ?

From what I understand he's moving on the first tower at CP out of necessity, he was facing some lawsuits otherwise.

I'd never buy into anything from those guys. The people who originally bought into CP got royally screwed

The building in front is so cool. Why would they fuck it up with some wannabe fake French chateau condos? The rendering makes the exterior look like stone but you just know that they'll cheap out and do a combo of stucco and imitation stone tile. Leave that shit for Vegas.
