Taken today, March 8th 2018.

5 floors have glass on the NE corner of the building, I did not get a chance to see how far the glass wraps around.

This tower has good mass; it also has good height; especially compare to what was there when One Meridian Plaza was there. This tower and its next door northern neighbor give good depth to the skyline as well.

My hope is now to see the final construction; to see it topped out; and hopefully the lighting at night will be vibrant.

I have this vision that the distance between those two towers, plus the unique shape/height may possibly mirror the United Nations series of towers in Manhattan where City Hall (being the trophy tower) is in the same position as the U.N.

This is true, but it's unfortunate that it's location on a narrow street you cannot see the full tower from a distance. You will only be able to see the top of the building at night as part of the skyline.

it looks mostly concrete, doubt windows, expect the far left section (maybe 30 ft ish (looking from Dilworth).

I hope whatever materials they use blend with the windows and look

This view shows that we will probably not see the top of the W over the Ritz from Dilworth Park. The western side of W won't be as tall as the Ritz, and the eastern side will be taller, but the angle will make its top not viewable from the Park, except the eastern side alongside the Ritz

Nice find, TCO. You don't see much of these types of perspectives. Most usually capture the skyline, but this shot gives a good feel from inside the core and the close up of how the other buildings are spatially connected.

People who haven't visited Center City recently probably can't appreciate how much this building adds to the density of the area around Chestnut and Broad. Everything is just much higher and tighter. If 1301 Market comes to fruition it will have a similar impact along Market East.

Believe it or not, but I see parallels to Manhattan all the time when I am enjoying those incredible views!

I admit that I don’t visit often, but I do see the progress from this wonderful forum and appreciate the photo updates tremendously!

Philly is my favorite city. It's my hometown and I love the museums, schools, history etc. NY is a close second though. Manhattan is just an awesome place. I wish I could get up there more often.
