As long as they sell seats and merchandise, the League is happy. Vegas was a risk, but there is too much money in that city to pass up. I think the league was hoping to mirror the success in San Jose where being the first real pro sports franchise built a loyal fan base. Next year will be interesting as I expect Vegas to take a major step backward, and after being teased with success they should likely become a bubble team at best, so how will their fan base respond...
