^good one. Sometimes a closeup shot is better.

Thanks Boris.
That's a very unflattering angle of Telus Sky.

Wow.....the Telus Sky tower looks great....interesting to see it with it's dynamic floorplate as it gets higher up.

That last Montreal photo was great, in a fair set of photos (the one with the sunbeams just looked overproduced).

Christ Montreal is a knockout. Just a big old rusty gleaming ball of paradox. I'm sorry, allow some homesickness: nothing in the country comes close. I can't wait to see the place this summer.

^ Does Dartmouth’s DT feel like an extension of DT Halifax, or does it have its own thing going on? Is it a cool place, or is it bland and suburban felling?

I would say that downtown Dartmouth feels like a cross between a neighbourhood of Halifax and a small NS town like Truro or Bridgewater. It used to be an industrial town with factories built around a canal (the canal is still there but most factories are gone). It has lots of little storefront shops, restaurants, etc. It used to be more run down but now it's becoming hipstery. The old part is pedestrian oriented.

Nobody's going to mistake it for Brooklyn but it's worth spending an afternoon there if you take the ferry over, and it's a reasonable choice of second-tier neighbourhood if you want an urban setting that is more affordable.

Thanks! It sounds more urban than I thought it might be, and it’s great that it has nice shops and restaurants as well. I really like old industrial towns myself, they usually have lots of character, and some grit!
