I think this could be a fantastic long term BRT line though IF the line is extended much further south (Lakewood) and north (ignore Arts Center, go up past Piedmont Park and continue up Piedmont past Morningside, Lindbergh, and Buckhead up to Roswell Road OR take a left on Peachtree and head all the way back down to Arts Center).
That makes a lot of sense. It would add substantially to the ridership.

I like the name The Mitchell Quarter. Unique while referencing Atlanta's past.

I agree. I think that's a GREAT name for the district. It references the city's history and doesn't sound like some singular development. I think this was the intention with "Buckhead Atlanta" but they failed.

Generation Atlanta's Fate Clouded In Legal Uncertainty

Disappointing news. The Integral Group and Atlanta Housing Authority's legal wranglings are apparently affecting not just the Integral Group's projects.

This article doesn't talk about Eviva, but I believe they were legitimately planning to break ground last fall but were derailed by the AHA lawsuit. We are unlikely to see any movement on Eviva until that lawsuit is resolved.

Goddamn I wish those were flats instead of townhomes!! I really enjoy the little pop-out “sunrooms”. Reminds me of the windows I used to see in Madrid.

Those rooftops are going to have some amazing views, especially if it is open on the west side of the townhome (skyline views) as well as the east (overlooking the BL)

Intown Atlanta is turning into a coastal city when it comes to real estate prices. (A bit of an exaggeration, but not much of one...). Have to wonder when skyrocketing prices start to limit Atlanta's famous affordability reputation. I guess we have a ways to go, though, from a metro-wide standpoint. While some areas of Intown ATL are starting rival metros like Seattle, Boston, DC, the metro area as a whole remains significantly less expensive...

As reputations go, "affordable" isn't a very good one for a city to have--that just means it isn't worth much.
