I am surprise they are doing that now, there were still many recyclables inside/outside this building.

I might have missed this. But the 401 West Georgia BMO branch is moving next door inside the building with the new Canada Post retail outlet?

Any development on this corner as well?

No word of redeveloping the BMO @ 401 West Geogria.

I could see a big restaurant moving in - maybe a bit more enclosure of the courtyard.

Has there been any recent news on what is going on with the Balmoral Hotel?
Last I heard after the evictions last summer was they had since put a lot of temporary supports in, closed up all the windows and had the Sahota's in court.
Has there been anything new?

Striking design, unusual and attention-grabbing! BUT, that color? .... Will it be that ugly industrial black? How downbeat.

Love the project on Terminal/Station. Vancouver is getting some excellent low/mid-rise office projects right now! Especially in the Flats/Mount Pleasant.

I like the form but it’s too dark for my tastes.

Interesting high-rise residential project in the background. Don't think I've seen that proposal before.

That caught my eye as well. Very tall for the area. Would love some more info.

I think that is an unrelated project that just happened to be right next to the model for the Terminal office project in the UDP model staging area.

Woah - the colour of the Terminal Ave tower is pretty dark, so much so that it hides the banding of the windows
and to some extent, masks the angles of the massing.

Ahhh - I can see the edge of the model base just under the SkyTrain in the 3rd pic.

The building was vacated in June 2017 after it was determined to be unsafe to occupy due to risk of localized collapse. Shoring has been installed in the residential floors to ensure that the building is stable and secure and poses no public safety risk.

At this time, the City does not have information as to the expected timeline for completion of repairs to the residential floors. The City has provided standards to which the building must be renovated, which align with standards established for BC Housing SRO and other major SRO renovations.
