Let’s try looking at this in an intelligent way, let’s build a 20 story tower in your neighbourhood and see how you like it. Hey, I would love it, so I guess you’re OK with me and other people around the city advicating 20 story tower building your neighbourhood? Don’t bother answering that because I already know the answer is no. That about ends that argument.

Actually he is right, you should only comment on your own particular neighbourhood if you are going to whine like this whenever someone comments on a proposal in Inglewood.

What I see here are a lot of people who are totally fine with a tall building going up in someone else’s neighbourhood but are clueless as to its effect.

My $0.02 is that this is an area that is about to see some major urban renewal, so likening it to the suburbs is a bit off base. Now, I think this is a bit much to go for right off the bat, but this area will see more urban type development in the not too distant future. If this was something similar to the condos to the north of 17th, I would be all for it. The end goal should be to have towers in this area, but the community needs to be eased into it first.
