I think that’s a separate building and I actually much prefer it. At least it’s a real style with real materials.

I agree. It's something you'd pass by on the street and give little consideration for but at least appreciate for it's contribution to the built form and urbanism of the area. That market housing or whatever is pretty tacky, as if a preschooler designed the exterior

Well, maybe I would have a different appreciation of it in person...

Another pickup truck, another asshole. Not all pickup truck drivers are assholes, but a lot of assholes drive pickup trucks (except Aussholes, who drive Audis).

My pups get to ride inside with me in the back seat and wear clicksafe seat belts. It’s a harness that clicks right in to the seat belt buckle. I’ll post a picture later.

I've never heard it either. I'm sure it was used on me a few times.

I am getting so sick of the Financial and National Pest. All they do lately is print Trolley right wing articles that fly in the face of all common sense. It's like listening to Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

http://business.financialpost.com/opinio...-for-the-environment-and-makes-us-sicker

FFS this 'writer' ignores the main concern with plastic bags which is litter and instead only focus on climate change. They use some American statistic of only %0.028 percent that ends up in landfills which does nothing to dispel litter concerns. That means the rest of it is floating around out there accumulating in the oceans and rivers and forests if it isn't being recycled.

They also argue that there's e-coli in re-usable bags. I'm not sure what other people do but I wrap my meat in plastic before putting it in the re-usable bag.

What, do you mean to say that you're a carnivore!!!!

That's not very politically correct of you.........

There's a movement afoot now in the UK to place an extra "sin tax" on meat consumption since it isn't an environmentally sustainable practice. I thought you would be all for that.

Really? Using your logic then you should be an uneducated, bible thumping hick because you’re fiscally conservative and so are they. I don’t presume those things about you. Don’t label me a vegan because I care about the environment.

Got that. It just seemed like a weak argument against political correctness and mischaracterization of me. I guess I misunderstood.

Also I’m not crazy about vegans.

My list of all time ugliest and most soul sucking stores:

1) Michael's.

The pot pourri old lady store with the most clinically depressing lighting known to man.

2) Wal-Mart.

It says everything you need to know when the clientele includes teenage moms and they have condoms at the checkout lines. Also has soul sucking bright white lights.

3) Bed Bath & Beyond.

The hellscape that is BBB is best experienced when you lost your credit card and are desperately trying to find it as the store is closing (As I had the pleasure of doing last Sunday). There's nothing quite like hearing the infomercial for the Miracle Cushion play on repeat nearby while you are having a panic attack. It is a made for TV hoarder's nightmare laid out by the same sadists that designed IKEA. Oh, and the lighting will fry your retinas if you look up.

4) Canadian Tire.

The most confusingly laid out stores where there's always tons of staff but no one who can actually help you to find something when you need it. Plus the insipid Canadian Tire guy.

No ikea? That’s the worst place and I cringe whenever it’s time for new bedding as I like the price of stuff there.
