If I recall they finished digging the pit back in August 2016; I'm quite impressed by the speed of this project.

That's because it is.

Met 1 is currently the shortest tower on that block (or those two blocks), but that title will soon go to Imperial by Amacon a little further down south on Imperial Street.

Vittorio (Polygon) and Polaris (Transca) which are still undergoing demolition/excavation will both be taller but I think The Park will remain the tallest tower in that cluster of towers.

If by 'reasonable' you mean market rate, that depends on where in the $700k's you mean. There is a similarly sized MET2 unit on assignment on the 12th floor as well ~ 851sqft at $718k. My guess the unit is worth about the same. They are flipping the assignment somewhat early and would be cutting into 'their' profit.

If you're curious how much they paid for the unit, going based off $600/sqft (how much I paid for mine), then they likely bought it around ~ $520k. It's sad to think now that the $500k's are cheap.

Would anyone remember what month or first day in 2015 Midori started selling? I paid $650/sqft for mine in Feb 2016. Midori has the better interior floor plans layout than most the Park and Met 1 & 2 does.

I think Midori will have the best-looking exterior building in the surrounding blocks. However, I do not like those cream exterior bricks on the townhouses. My guess there will be a two to three months delay in possession date.

Pretty hideous. It somehow manages to make the two Concord towers in that cluster look thoughtfully designed.

The design of the building is heavily weighed on showcasing the balconies, once they place the balcony railings and glass the building will have more visual impact (good or bad I don't know yet, I'll wait til it's installed before deciding). The balcony glass on the north-west and south-east corners are meant to have varying shades of opaque panes of glass (from white to dark green) ~ forming what sales marketed as a 'leaf motif'.

Personally, the most visually striking building on that block is 'The Park', and will likely remain so until Imperial and Vittorio are well underway.

For me, Midori is the most visually striking building on that block. The Park is also visually striking building because it stands on Neilson and openness on the west side. Even though green color represents 'leaf motif', I am hoping they use clear blueish or grayish glass on its balcony which would make it more modern and cleaner overtimes except for the bricks they were using on the townhouses. The reason I say this is The Mets 1 & 2 and The Park have so much dullish green from their window blinds or curtains.

The green of the spandrel in the 2nd pic above is a lime green
- so I think the balcony glass will match, although the rendering seems to show white panels too.
