Yupp but the project was always about two towers and at left they both got built. I sometimes wonder how interesting Calgary's skyline would look if the second and much taller BMO tower got built.

I think they're the best example of good POMO in our city. Also they add some diversity to our mostly flat rooftops. Even the Bow and Telus Sky don't do that. The contemporary version would be EAP.

Bankers Hall towers aren't anything to write home about, but when you look at the rest of downtown, most of the buildings are made up of bland, vapid boxes with no character whatsoever. In that context they look good.

I have now tried not zooming photo and cropping the image instead. A person suggested and I think it is better.

It's a little bit better by not zooming in, and then doing a crop. I say stick with that method.

Maybe not the best looking, but they are definitely one of my favourite developments still.
