Alberta’s resident douchebag MLA is at it again. First the hit and run then the air bnb rental on the governmen’s dime now this. Frat boy idiot. Such a punchable face.

Yeah, hopefully they break up the parcels a little bit more in the future phases.

First time I've heard of the equivalent in English to "face à claque", "tête à claque" or, as one of my friends says, "face à bûcher dedans".

Indeed.
As soon as I saw his swept hair and hipster beard (and beady eyes), I knew I was looking at a douchebag.

Don't let his appearance fool you. He's a redneck not a hipster. Though he does seem to take cues from this pile of shit:

However, Gavin McInnes does claim to be the father of the hipster movement.

I like them for the reason you just don't see low rise apartments built like this anymore. It's ether townhouse blocks, stacked townhouses blocks or the half a kilometre long abomination at the top of the page.

I dunno. When he was trying to explain his logic behind renting his taxpayer funded apartment on air B&B and pocketing the profits his explanation was something along the lines of "I'm a young person, when I need a ride I call an uber, when my condo is empty I air B&B it"

Sounds like hipster logic to me. Maybe him acting like a redneck (which he is) is just him being ironic ?

He’s an ironic redneck lol! Nah I just think he’s a greedy jerk who thinks that rules don’t apply to him. He probably has one of those Don’t Tread On Me flags in his house.

There are a couple of reasons why he is still in cabinet. I think you know what they are.

Yeah, a Liberal holding a seat in Calgary is a pretty rare deal. But at some point enough's enough.

He's also a person with a disability which is a demographic that the Liberals want to see represented in cabinet.

This doesn't mean he's a "token disabled guy". If you look at his credentials he's far from that.

There is no question he is qualified to serve in cabinet.

But as a Minister he's also got to be respectful with Canadians.

Based on his comments I get the impression that Kent Hehr (what a name!) has very little empathy for people facing hardship because he managed to overcome his circumstances and find success.

I was teasing, I knew what you meant. He sounds like a jerk, and being in a wheelchair shouldn't get him out of having to treat people with basic civility.

I don't care that he is a rare southern Alberta Liberal in a wheelchair.

I think even the disabled community would like to see him gone.

I'm not a big fan of identity politics in any event. There are better people who should be in cabinet. Give him the heave ho (along with "what French chateau" Morneau).........
