Yeah, it was pretty cool and different 10 years ago and a welcome reprieve from the endless stucco typically used in these parts, but this look is getting a little tired.
Interestingly, I find that MURBs and commercial buildings tend to overuse this kind of siding while it's still a rare sight on single-family homes.
I actually kind of like that Belgrade building... I didn't realize it was overseas. I just figured it was some North York thing and I was starting to wonder why I wasn't seeing it on any of the construction threads
