Thats an illusion. The hoarding with overhead cover goes to the street and currently gives the illusion that it is continuous with Icon. Probably have a 12 inch setback from the sidewalk. lol

It's still much closer to the street than I expected. It's going to loom over that section of Carling/Dow's Lake like a... a... well, that'll depend on how good or bad the final product looks!

I may be totally wrong, but the footprint of it looks pretty small, now that it's above grade. This will perhaps make it look taller overall...?

I find when you visit a large house that is being built and it's just above grade it looks tiny and all the rooms look small, yet when it's completed everything looks normal. Maybe the same thing applies?

It will never be the tallest. Trinity will finish its first tower at Bayview before Icon reaches the 30th floor.
