2) Is 525 Parkway actually within the beltline overlay? Looks like it could be right outside.
All of the parcels on the east side of Parkway Drive are within the Beltline overlay-which includes this parcel at 525 Parkway.

The property proposes a development over structured parking to create a robust transit-oriented development adjacent to two MARTA stations.

How much longer do we have to wait for some renderings/site plans?

Considering the Willoughby got through, I am not confident in the BL DRC's teeth or their design requirements:

When was The Willoughby submitted for SAP? I feel like they snuck in right before the Beltline DRC was officially adopted (Spring of 2015) since 725 Ponce was one of the first projects they had purview of as a DRC.

Out of curiosity, what do you think doesn't conform about these plans? The lots are former residential lots and are narrow. City code requires 24-foot driveways, so that leaves no room for active uses. It's not the best, but that's what the code requires.

I am as bleeding heart liberal as they come...but do you know how long there was boarded up former low-income housing on Boulevard? For some of those properties...the only displacement will be rats and pigeons.

Also the 17 story apartment tower at Centennial Dr and Ivan Allen filed a building permit and paid $161K in development fees this week. To be called "Generation Atlanta" with 331 units. Not sure if this rendering from July is the final design:

The first building of the NCR HQ will officially open 1/8/18. That is when the first groups move in.
