Tonight's loss reminds me of the first Rider loss due to the extra man. The game was all but won, but one bonehead play killed it.

Just back from the winter wonderland here in Ottawa.

First, it was absolutely beautiful with the snow but the game play was predictably sloppy.

I can't believe it that Calgary blew the game not once but twice late in the 4th quarter. How can you put the ball up for grabs with a tie almost guaranteed.

There was total comparability with the Eastern Final last year. In both cases, snow began just before game time. Both games had slippery conditions. I sat in the stadium both games and it felt the same in each case from game play and also from the spectator's perspective.

You don't see too many exciting finishes in the Super Bowl. I wasn't expecting one this year at the Grey Cup, but again the game delivered. Sorry your team lost, but is it better to cheer for some distant NFL team just to avoid the intense sting of defeat? Unfortunately, only one team wins each year no matter the league.

Not an Esks fan, as I dislike them as much as the Stamps now, but if the Stamps had some class like the Argos and wouldn't throw each other under the bus every time they lose they might actually be team enough to win one of these things.

I'm old enough now that I've experienced a lot of defeats so I don't get too upset anymore. But I'm not going to lie - that one was particularly hard to swallow.

Stamps clock is back to day 1 again to get back for another shot at it.

Another classic finish -- too bad for Stamps fans, that their team has been on the losing side of the last two nail-biters.

Hopefully, this will attract some more fans to Argos games and we'll see some support for this team.

Just goes to show that in the CFL, you have to watch till the VERY end.

Well, that ending certainly erased the painful memories of the pre-game musical (?) act. For the Argos, the Leon McQuay fumble story seems second-rate now.

A game for the ages. I like Bo for going for it: a Texan will understand that he who lives by the sword also dies by it.

CFL teams evolve a lot in the course of a season and a short season means that, even apart from that fact, records can be heavily affected by luck. So you have to be ready to play whoever your opponent is. The Stampeders played well tonight but had three plays go horribly wrong, which turned out to be one too many. Losing twice in a row like this is really unprecedented for such a dominant team, so I do feel sorry for them. Bo's schtick is going to have to change now, I think. It will be interesting to see if he can handle that.

Man you read my mind, I thought are they trying to kill ratings here. But they're probably trying to market to a younger crowd that seems to believe what that guy was doing constitutes some form of music.

Stamps had to go for it, field position was good and there are no guarantees of a field goal (in those conditions) or overtime.

Calgary has definitely earned the choker label. Maybe they should suck for a few years and try the underdog role because it's obvious they can't handle being favorites.

Clearly they will have to make changes. Not wholesale but this group is not good enough so they have to do something. I think Dickenson and Bo Levi are grossly overrated. Maybe you start with those two?
