YC is going to look so narrow once its done. That profile view isn't going to last long though with Halo condos starting construction..

Always love seeing what Toronto is doing, it's nothing short of amazing the quality and sheer quantity of builds !!

Hopefully, it keeps dropping to 0. It's such a stupid development. A really tall and ugly tower on the edge of a cliff surrounded by wind swept plazas and a switchback retail mall extending down into the valley. Yeah, there's a high chance of success there.

Meh, I actually like YC condos!

Black and white breaks the monotony of blue/green.

Get with the times. Black and white on grey spandrel is the blue/green of 2017.

Thanks. I try real hard at it. Just can't seem to get the same entertainment value as the vacuous fanboy responses to any criticism of all things tall and shiny.

It's an ambitious project from a developer most familiar with building single family homes and duplexes in greenfield areas. I don't think you'll see this project break ground in anything close to the same form it is now. That area has such a long ways to go, I don't know if it'll be feasible to build anything there in the mid term.

I drive past the fancy new Hyatt across from the site every day, and I'm not sure how much longer that place can hang on. The lobby, porte coche and lounge are deserted at 5:30 pm every night.

You really should get a Netflix standup special. People here have no taste, I'd gladly double my premiums just to watch it!

No surprise there with the hotel having being built further into a parking lot strewn neighbourhood.

I love the retro vibe from The One. It's a nice change from what we've been seeing lately.
