The Campanile - 1155 Peachtree Street Expansion

I just heard from a friend The Campanile expansion is moving forward and the building is expanding from 446,000 sqft to 637,125 sqft. No idea how much is additional office vs. retail.

If Dewberry owned only 1 building, that would be 1 more than OHM - just sayin'.

Dewberry Enters New Partnership For New Leasing Energy On Atlanta Portfolio

A former Tishman Speyer Atlanta executive is partnering with Dewberry Capital in a new venture that aims to fill up Midtown's Campanile building. Dewberry — founded by former Georgia Tech quarterback and developer John Dewberry — tapped Atlantic Capital Properties CEO Jim Meyer to lease two significant office properties in Atlanta, including at Campanile, the 446K SF office tower Dewberry purchased in 2010 for $35M, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. While Dewberry purchased the 20-story tower for a fraction of its previous price tag, the building has remained stuck at about 50% leased, the Chronicle reports. In the new partnership, Dewberry granted Meyer — Tishman Speyer's former managing director in Atlanta who helped to develop One and Two Alliance Center, as well as kicking off Three Alliance Center before venturing out on his own — autonomy in leasing both Campanile and Peachtree Pointe, another significant Dewberry holding. Meyer's Atlantic Capital Properties also plans to partner with Dewberry on the remaining undeveloped parcels in Midtown.

Strange that they want to add square footage when it's only 50% leased, but more power to them.

It says on the image that the office once expanded will be ~611,000sq ft so the rest would the retail expansion.

That picture is over a year old. So I don't know if anything has changed. Also I think the condo/hotel may part of the mix. I heard the hotel is a West Elm. It should be announced in the next couple weeks.

To be clear- this just means expansion of the existing building of 446k sq ft to 637 sq ft (change in ~190k sq ft)? No movement on the New towers, correct? I’d much rather see the new apartment tower go up

The person I know saw a document showing 1155 Peachtree sqft increased to 637,125K and another building. He said he thought it was hotel with a West Elm Logo. No mention of condos, but he said he could have overlooked that.

The computer program I wrote just picked it up as a new photo added in the last 5 days. So I do know anymore than you know.
