Welp, I hang my head in shame, I've failed you all as I did not have time this weekend to complete the pg. 1 update. Will try again very soon..

Work schedule aside, part of the reason it's taking me some time is that I was hoping to alter the layout of the list/breakdown and make it more spreadsheet like...still color-coded but something that can be imported from Excel into AutoCAD/InDesign, to be able to put images in there as well (all in my head now, apologies if hard for others to visualize). Any additional comments for improvement, please feel free to post here or PM me. Thanks.

360 W Erie St (Erie & Sedgwick) issued new construction building permits yesterday - 11 stories, 38 units and both below grade and at grade (?) parking. Currently mostly parking lot except the small building that used to have Citizen Bar. Good riddance.

The city needs to revisit allowing so many condo developers to opt out of ground level retail. That whole area is a dead man’s land, even as it develops pretty densely

Agreed. Developers are getting away with this throughout central Denver, and it's really creating an awful urban experience - all the drawbacks of density (mainly clogged streets, b/c Denver transit is amateur hour) without the positive attributes. Chicago in general is much, much better in this regard, but I don't like the precedent these River North condo buildings are setting.

The NIMBYs in the area don't want retail, they say that "if we wanted retail we wouldn't have moved to a residential neighborhood"

also they don't want another disaster like with the clubs on Ontario

is retail at the base of every building really a good idea in the age of amazon?
