This is big enough to practically be it's own submarket.

This could easily be 12 to 15 million square feet in total. With that much square footage in such a constrained space, we could be looking at multiple super tall buildings here. This is on the same scale as Hudson Yards in NYC (both coincidentally built over active rail infrastructure). That would be a complete game changer for Atlanta. I really hope the master plan gets revealed soon!

So... that's the zoning code/ordinance there???

That sure would be nice. Although we have plenty of bragging rights with our skyline, I've been envious watching a host of cities get new supertalls in recent years....Philadelphia, San Fran, LA...no need to mention NYC...which is in a class by itself.

I would love nothing more than for this economic shot in the arm to happen in South Downtown. Longer term, it may also give a much needed jolt for more rapid growth here on the Southside, simply due to the closer proximity.

While growth continues to happen at a very slow and steady pace, speaking for myself, I still can't help but get jealous at how much faster the Northside is growing and spreading outward.

There's a convenient "Pay Fees" link on this page, if anyone feels like taking the initiative to push this along. Total amount due is $9,802,850 (payable online via credit card) but be warned -- they tack on an annoying $4.50 convenience fee.

Just looked at Curbed. It had to be this.

https://atlanta.curbed.com/atlanta-devel...nd-platt-madison-yards-fuqua-development

It's not the ugliest thing he's built, but I'm ready for him to disappear.

I don't love it but it's nearly as horrendous as the toilet clogger he's building west of Atlantic Station, where, at least in the last rendering I saw, a huge parking lot directly abutted the street as if the development was in Cherokee County.
