Reminds me of this beast in Calgary. Not a mansard roof but similarly ugly.

Not sure how this clocktower mall never made it in here before. From the newly created Pics of Malls, Plazas and Big Box stores thread. Based on the name alone it should get merged with this thread.

From squareone life blog.

There seems to be a whole subgenre of Trump / Sloth photoshops.

Jesus. Wow. How can people raise kids in that who don't turn into Nazis or Stormtroopers? Environment matters people. Raise cool, fun, urban kids. Not suburban yokels.

Exactly. How do you want to have a good taste in life after that when you are raised in a place like that?

Oh man. That's bad. Looks like it's a render almost.....if those trees grow up, I think it'll look a bit better.....but the way the road and grass and housing is makes it look very.....strange. Bleugh.

Those are more of a failure by lack of context. If they were closer to the street and less separation between the clusters (ditch the 2 storey portions) it wouldn't be so bad.

Not too different from this, although the design and attention to detail is much better: https://goo.gl/maps/Ba6u1sv7mX52

I like that one from Toronto ! There is much more attention to the detail and good taste / Material quality.
I think the Orange Squared Boxes at the 2nd floor are killing the architecture for that one in Québec City IMO. They wanted to ''attract'' the attention with it and go ''original'' but I think it would have been much better without it.

That reminds me of this townhousing development by Pinnacle.....which is finished but the Google Streetview is aging.
https://www.google.ca/maps/@43.6055156,-...itch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i13312!8i6656

A fugly set of houses that I only saw this week going to a friends place. The last time I was down there before was in 2015, where there were just original houses there. This is a wealthy area though.....nevermind, the streetview is too old for me to show....

I noticed this housing development down the road, obviously older, streetview being from 2014:
https://www.google.ca/maps/@43.553863,-7...rc4TwCv70Iw3bqBiTNIVA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Ah yes, this POS townhouse:
https://www.google.ca/maps/@43.5565342,-...1AHJyi9wKY4WPPjYqvYpg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
I hate this intersection.....the drivers are fast on this stretch of Dundas and biking/walking can suck with how GREAT and KIND the drivers are.

A little tour of Riffs, rural Newfoundland's equivalent of Eatons, The Bay, whatever.

In the capital city region, they're called Pipers and they're lower than Walmart, but still presentable:

Everywhere else... this is where you go for the hottest dusty rose home furnishings and acid wash denim fashions and Cuban/Czech home appliances.

Suburban 'yokel' here.

It's a house. Just 'cause you don't like it visually, doesn't mean I'm a Stormtrooper or espouse the values of the Nazis.

Geez.
