I didn’t have time to post the photo, but the Mayor posted photos of the new atrium/ entrance on St. George, where the bike works is.. I think that’s what it’s called. It look beautiful!

Thanks you! That is the photo I was walking about and I agree with you, it’s kind of a catalyst to the rejuvenation of St. George.. I’d like to see more though!

All three are protected by the heritage bylaw, so unlikely to be replaced.

I also subsequently went online at the SNB Property Assessment website, and those properties were not recently sold, therefore this presumably was a false rumour.

Interestingly, the parking lot on the opposite corner of the Queen/Alma intersection consists of three assessed properties and these were sold as a package on Feb 27, 2015 for a total of $1.7M. Perhaps this was the source of the rumour........

- the alley between the two buildings will be turned into an atrium (you can see this in the photo above).
- the kitchen will be glass walled and you will be able to watch as your food is prepared.

It's in the Arches development on St George Street, same block as the Caisse Populaire.

In February next year, Co_Pain will move to a building across the street at 98 Bonaccord St. The group is still in the process of developing products for the new storefront, but they plan to offer their best-selling sourdough bread, croissant with chocolatine, oatmeal bread and baguettes.

It's already all framed in. It's only two storeys but peaks almost as high as the 3.5-storey apartments across the street. I keep walking past it but never with any device worthy of taking a photo.

The RE/MAX signs now say SOLD. It takes a while for the SNB site to get updated.

Is there not some sort of clause that allows someone to appeal the protection if they have a specific development, that is better suitable than the current use?
