Neither do I, but I can't stop Jr from retaliating whenever I post something critical about The Connaught, so it's not really up to me. This board is for posting updates (which I do, a lot, for numerous projects in Hamilton & don't really have any intention of stopping)

When a developer can come in and hijack a conversation about a project happening in Hamilton, that's an issue. Defeats the purpose of the forum. Leave the marketing materials to CondoNow pls. We should be able to criticize projects without being accused of slander.

I'm curious now where the third phase......which I believe may be the 36 floor tower is going to be located......I can't recall anymore.

In the Catherine St Parking lot. Directly next to Phase 2. And yes, it's 36 floors.

There's a huge difference between criticizing and slander. Of course, I don't expect you to understand the difference. The police have explained this to you already though. I won't spend the time restating what they already told you.

The entire reason I even joined this board was to correct the fact that you said floors were being cut off our proposal for Phase 3! you moron. I joined this board in order to clarify your mistakes.

I'm not concerned about you. Again, if you or your friend have an issue with me, you should DM me.

You're already familiar with the Hamilton Police and my lawyers. I'm in the drivers seat here David. I can file criminal and/or civil charges against you at any second if I wanted. Why haven't I? Because I feel sorry for you. I don't like thinking about your legit crying in the Connaught lobby. If I was to go forward with these charges, I would hate for that crying to return.

I've said this many times. I'll say it again. My intention was always to share updates and to correct false claims about the project(s) I work on (i.e. David telling the board that some of Phase 3 was no longer getting constructed, etc)

That's actually why I joined this board initially. I was told by people that someone was spreading lies online. After I joined, I realized how it was kind of cool to bridge the gap between developer and the public. I began sharing information about the project, answering questions, etc. I enjoy most of the conversations and i've met some cool people on here.

Most of the board has been very nice and normal lol. I'm all for criticism and debate .We live in a free country. I exercise my freedom of speech as much as the next person. However, there is a fine line between criticism and slander. A smart person knows the difference. There have been multiple people on this board who have expressed their criticisms. I will rarely respond to those, because they're intelligent, unbiased and most importantly, free of malice.

For example, you've made it known you didn't like the additions on the Connaught. Did you and I ever engage in a war of words or back and forth? No, because you stated you opinion like a normal person, I responded normally and we moved on.

David has a personal vendetta against the project. He's been involved with Police and lawyers multiple times, which in turn, has led to him either mocking responses I make on the board, or piling on when others make criticisms of the Connaught in order to annoy me. It's his 'M-O' and it's sad and obvious.

I'll say it again, this is a person who has harassed and attempted assault on our property.

I'm happy to stay on the board and providing updates on the Connaught, clarifying falsehoods, answering questions by posters, etc. I'm also fine leaving the board.

I think David and his buddy should stop hijacking the downtown thread though and they can either DM me directly, or post on the respected thread.

I hate to take away from the general Downtown Discussion. I literally complimented an article posted in this thread one week ago, while asking why the RC wasn't included. I was told the reason why it wasn't included and moved on. I guess others on this board haven't.

I just want to see legitimate updates, and both of you being silly is bothersome. I really do not care about your personal problems, if I did, I'd meet you for lunch and listen to your drama. I've got nothing against David either, because frankly, he hasn't done anything to me either. But I'm quite indifferent to the actual issues behind this hilariously stupid and childish behaviour on both sides. Please discontinue.

Agreed. I'm not trying to one up him though. Not insulting him either. I don't even know him personally. The one time I met him was during his 'incident'. Everything i've said about him isn't insulting because it actually occurred during said incident.

Actually... I even sent him a private DM roughly a month ago, trying to burry the hatchet. I told him I was personally lifting the ban from the property now and in the future and that I hoped we could move on from our differences. I didn't hear back and instead continued to be ridiculed by him.

Long time lurker, just started posting today.

I believe the bashing on Hamilton23 is just plain dumb. This person has been providing updates on the Royal Connaught and answering questions by board posters. How many people involved in developments are doing this? I think that in itself makes him a valuable poster.

It just appears to me that one or two posters have beef with the person and hopefully it doesn't spoil the updates on the project for the rest of us as a result of their BS
