The sphere house is so horrific it kind of rules. I'd love to explore it except for the fact I'd be worried it would collapse around me.

And just like you, I've also always thought it would be a fitting house for a Chrysler fan, however, this house used to have a GM pickup in the driveway, and now on the street view it's a Ford.

Ugh, that landscape. I am not that fussy but I could never get used to that.

I don't mind the actual desert (I was actually fascinated by it at one time) but that "in-between" landscape is just the worst IMO.

I actually like those great open spaces, myself. Maybe if I lived there permanently I'd end up finding grass greener elsewhere, pun not intended.

Note that the area isn't actually as barren as these flat fields would have you think. There's lots of trees in the city and they don't require any watering (at least I know mine don't).

I guess it depends on the time of year too. That streetview was taken in November. Not a pretty time of year in much of North America.

Still not a fan of that, though.

I've travelled in that area before and was happy to see the desert!

The more west you go in that area the "nicer" the landscape becomes for us tourists. More hilly with mesas rather than just flat like you saw in that streetview. There's a pretty nice canyon just SE of the city though. IIRC I even posted hiking pics of it on SSP already.

Don't let the plastic columns fool you. That's one flat wall for the length of the building, complete with Fredericton-standard plastic siding, idiotic fake window keystones, gravel driveways, and mini-pediment protrusions coming out above the front doors.
