Was the reception at the top of the east wing? I know the reception I went to was on the east top. The restaurants are over on the west top overlooking the Temple Square.

Also, I think I may have over estimated the height of the proposed building. Perhaps 330-350 is more realistic. Does anyone have a realistic estimate on the height?

There is a small banquet room on the north-east corner of the west wing in the roof restaurant.

However, the larger banquet rooms are in the east wing.

Getting the Olympics in 2030 and having the city buildings be a large portion branded Amazon would be a nice plus. I really do wonder how much longer Amazon will continue its dominance with Alibaba on the way up and other competitors?

Dead line for the Amazon 2nd Headquarters bid is Thursday.
What has Salt Lake City or Utah done as far as putting in for the bid, does anyone have information on this?

Despite the Olympics being extremely commercialized with product endorsements, the Games have actually taken on a policy against corporate-sponsoring of the Games. Because of this, any arena or stadium named after a corporation will be called something generic. In 2002, the Delta Center was renamed Salt Lake Ice Center and referred to as such by the media and Games.

So, Amazon would get little out of Salt Lake hosting the games.

Love the plans the Helds have for that property. I'm hoping they can improve upon the design. It's not awful but certain elements could be improved, especially on the first couple of floors.

Forgive the pessimism here, but if you look at the web page of Helds development, there hasn't been any recent development from them, if I recall, for decades.

I think the Helds have developed things more recently. They just haven't updated their website in a decade
