This will be one messy design if they don't handle these areas carefully. They need to follow the direction of Bay Adelaide East & Sun Life in Toronto.
Spandrel is minimal once you get past the podium.
Columns are set back from the edge of the structure. All base building partitions are in centre of floor plate.
No problem....yea Toronto is still going strong.....even in two to three years there'll be plenty of big towers going up.....the Bay Park Centre, the Well, One Yonge, possibly One Bloor or Mervish and Gehry, and other waterfront projects...then other things. This boom isn't ending anytime soon.

Yes, but digging down and getting to ground level takes time, so even at 16 floors up, they are basically halfway through.
I walked by 88 Scott tonight, (204 m) probably wont be on the list much longer. Harbourplaza (238 m) is starting to look filled up with residents. We will have a few more sub 200 meter towers join the list at this rate.
A video for The One that looks like it was a rush job. Hopefully a more refined less cheesey one is made for the sales office opening. So much is wrong with it but there are a few nice skyline shots when the tracking holds up.

It's looking like it's getting there, halfway sounds fairly accurate considering how fat the podium is. I wish they added some office space to that podium...though the design would've been a bit more awkward possibly. I gotta wonder how well they'll do that crown, it could look pretty sweet if done well.
