Awesome shot as always DesignMind. Interesting to see this angle. It’s the least flattering imo but still interesting.

White window sills are going up now?

They look terrible. Hope that they paint them black. Don't understand why they wouldn't.

What window sills? the window frames are clear anodized aluminum, but I don't see a white sill...

If you go to the thread on Skyrise Cities you can see a pretty good pic of them. They're white frames of some sort on the residential floors. Either door or window frames. I'd post it here but I don't want to step on any toes with photo cred.

Fingers crossed the plan is to paint them black.

Edit: Actually you can see them here if you scroll the first few pics: http://calgary.skyrisecities.com/database/projects/telus-sky

Often times opening portions of doors like this will have a piece of plastic put over the finished edge to protect it during construction due to tools being brought in and out through them. Hopefully that is the case here.

Yeah I could see that being the case.

Either way I seriously doubt they'll leave it like that. If they do SSP volunteering to paint them?

It's ether a piece of plastic or a piece of the cladding that hasn't been installed. There won't be a white sill.

Was looking at this as I walked by earlier, definitely looks to be the cladding under the doors aren't installed.

Thank you for the update ProducePrincess!
Am I correct in saying that everything above the mechanical floor/load transfer floor is hotel/residential? It seems floor heights are now different beyond this point.

That's the way the floor plates appear - I never even noticed the difference in the floor plates being closer together. Being that it's residential up top - that would be the case.

I believe that's correct. Their website has the breakdown and IIRC it starts around the 30th floor.

Won't be long until TELUS Sky blocks our view of the Calgary Tower.

Interesting look at the floorplate. It's strange because there doesn't appear to be a corridor running through the centre. The left hand side looks like it's one unit or something.

The floor plate does look interesting there. I would guess there is a corridor in the middle with units on the ends to maximize saleable area.
