There are really no images of the north face of the building, are there? I'm very curious as to how they will handle all the blank wall. I'm guessing much like the panels that are being installed now on the 15th Street face. or just glass?

I think the plan was to put a mural on the North facade for the A and J unit residences at the Ritz Carlton. It'll be a view of the skyline without the W alongside text that says "you missed your selling window".

Hard to tell if they're too far behind on the rebar to pour today but they've surprised me before:

Nope. It's going to be a big outdoor deck, which should be great for hotel guests (and us if a portion, like a restaurant/bar portion is open as public space). I think I'm starting to like the cladding as more it applied. Looks nice in the sunlight. What is the material, though? I'm thinking not real stone. Is it ID'd anywhere? Not on the building diagram for the building.

I like the color and the buff texture. Very much like the Ritz on the other side of the building. Looks like nice limestone slabs, but who knows? The lack of windows bothers me. We'll see.

Well... i mean you could walk over a few feet to the southern facade and look straight up at it if that's your thing.

On the second photo in post# 2492 it looks like the cladding is made from a veneer on top of a concrete panel. Real limestone would be very impressive.
