I wonder when Katz signature tower will get the green light.

And no word of the Edmonton Galleria project in months.

Galleria has been very quiet. Wonder if they're looking for some more money to get things going?

All great projects to uplift the whole Downtown from a demographic perspective.

Augustana commences shortly.

Healy would be great.

What is going on with Augustana anyway, financing issues? This is going to be rentals right?

MacLaren is also to note, not in Downtown but still a great addition.

Anyone know where sales at Mezzo is at? Has the developer put a date on ground breaking yet?

^financing is in place, just a matter of time. Rental.

^Mezzo is in sales and was doing well.

City to drop option to purchase Edmonton Tower, would receive cash from ICE District
September 15, 2017

The City of Edmonton and ICE District Corp. have agreed to an amendment in the Edmonton Tower lease agreement that would see the City receive $5 million in exchange for removing its option to purchase a portion of the building in the event it is ever sold.

According to the original lease agreement, the City maintained the first right of refusal in acquiring a half interest in the building. The City has determined it is not interested in exercising this option, and that there is a monetary value in agreeing to a future request to remove it.

City Council accepted Administration’s recommendation in this matter at its meeting on September 13.

What's Sky? Also, I thought Brad Lamb had said that his project was going to start soon.

I will be bet RISE on Healy have not engaged any local Consultants yet either - or tapped into any constructors regarding prelim cost estimates. People are quick to jump on Brad Lamb - being in the dark as to the lack of intell on Jasper House, but cut a lot of slack on other projects. Just saying.

In any event I think there was a post here or on C2E that mentioned the meter is running out on deposits held for Jasper House. I don't recall the date but it would be better to release people's deposits now than wait to the last minute. I wonder who gets interest on the funds held in the deposit. Let's hope it's not Brad Lamb.

Not at all, it should have been on that list.

There are also 'a few' others not quite ready for that list

So many people were talking about how impressive this area is becoming while walking to Rogers last night. Great to see the jerseys Downtown again!
