^sure looks like it. Anyone know whether they have decided to include additional parking for the second phase? Not that I'm overly keen on having parking, just curious cause it didn't say

That store + the adjacent RWB residence sure would make a prime redevelopment site now.

Some flagship retailer would be ideal.

That would really elevate Graham!

The RWB Residence/School/Rehearsal Space/Office is not likely going anywhere unless someone with some really deep pockets comes forward to effectively build them a replacement somewhere and I am betting they would want to stay central so its not likely to be as big a win as you might hope.

That said the student residence adjacent to the open air TNS Square plaza does seem to be a potentially incompatible mix and something I have flagged going as far back as the initial SoPo days.

^ If the land was a bit more valuable I could imagine a scenario where a new tower gets built on the RWB Residence/Hull's site with a few floors devoted to a new RWB residence, but I don't think that's going to fly here. You're quite likely right, it probably will remain as it is now. It'll be interesting to see what will go into the Hull's location as that is now a pretty desirable little building being surrounded by office towers, hotels and apartments. Hopefully it'll be something more interesting than another casual dining/sports bar joint.

^^ Pretty sure Longboat took ownership of the former Hull bookstore. If I had to bet I would assume it will become a casual dining place targeting the Bell MTS Palace crowd. Hopefully they do something another than the typical beer and burgers pub style menu though.

Geez, I'd rather have a 7-Eleven than yet another beer, burgers and big-screen TV emporium.

TN owns it. Something unique, or different for sure.

I'm not convinced the final product is going to keep that shape. Tower 1 definitely isn't tapering the way it does in the renderings.

It most certainly does, it just isn't obvious without the glass in place to help define the shape. On the construction cam if you look carefully you can distinctly see a gradual taper as shown in renderings.

Yeah I understand what you mean though, it isn't very obvious just glancing at it. Definitely not as dramatic as version 1.0 of the renderings.
