A new crane was installed today on the triangular section of the site between the Howe Street ramp and the Granville Bridge.

I suspect that the low-rises will be disappointing (because of their plain-ness) compared to the articulation on the tower.

Looking awesome so far!

Check out Vancouver House's sister building in Calgary. It will have LED lighting at the window sills. Looking really good in the dark.

Any interesting lighting features for ours? It would be appalling to have the tower in the dark at night at such a prime location by the bridge!

And you know what would happen if Vancouver House wanted such awesome lighting? The NIMBYS would cry "Oh, it's too bright, I can't sleep at night!!!" Can you tell me, VIN, if that is already what has happened to Trump Tower lighting? I certainly hope not? It's been off for months.

more likely is the CoV policies with regard to light pollution would probably prevent lighting features like that.

Funny that out of 100 people, maybe 95 will love a nicely lit-up building, but 5 will complain that it's too bright. Why do we keep listening to these people?

I think the "pro" crowd should voice out more.

They've had different portions on at different points in the evening several days now, and always at the bottom. It makes me think the problem is with the lighting not complaints. It doesn't seem to be working properly.

yeah that's what i thought from what i saw. it seemed more broken looking then turned off.

I took a walk over the Lions Gate Bridge a few days ago and noticed the Vancouver House cranes peeking over the trees of Stanley Park. So, when it's topped out it will probably be very easy to see. It might even make up a bit for the loss of the Landmark tower on Robson.

In the last pic I think the cranes (from left to right) are... The Charleson, Tate, Vancouver House and The Jervis.

Hey that didnt stop The One at Cambie bridge to showcase bright stripe LED white lights. I sure hope they can install lights for Vancouver House as it would accentuate the curve even more, especially at night.
