No renders, just notes from Design Review Panel but it kind of paints an image of what to expect.

wasn't this location originally a sushi restaurant? I think I went there once.. it was pretty nice..

No, it was a dental school. Tatemono used to be Sushi Star, maybe you're thinking of that.

Was at Red Church cafe in Gore Park. The back room gallery's exhibit (till Aug 31st) is old Hamilton. B&W photos of King Street and Gore Park (some from the late 1800's) from the Ham Public Library Archives. Not a huge exhibit but some great stuff.

McMaster - there are 3 cranes

interestingly enough I am having a very difficult time finding a building downtown that matches the greyed out building beside the proposed building downtown..

How about the lot beside the Pheasant Plucker on Augusta (so Agusta and Hughson)

I do believe you are correct! Oddly enough that building appears to be one of the only ones of its kind in the downtown core.. good job!

I could see that building doing well there..

I'm pretty sure that's an existing building although it is past Wentworth so I don't think one would consider it downtown.

Speaking of the lot beside the Pheasant, wasn't there a plan to build a fitness club there years ago, including an option on the property. I remember it being discussed here. In light of that, I'm surprised no one has tried to do anything with that lot.

So many surface lots that hold great potential, James / King William and Main and Bay, both begging for investment.

On the greyed out building on render above, it is too much of a match (including raised front bed) not to be the Pheasant Plucker.

agreed- it's also the ONLY building in all of downtown with that specific configuration.

Workers were out this week painting sections of the facade/entrance of the Sheraton Hotel a dark grey colour.
