For 25 years, City Hall has been one of Edmonton’s most recognizable landmarks. Home of our civic leadership and a “people place” – this iconic building is much-loved gathering place for the community.
Join us on Monday, August 28, 2017 to celebrate this special milestone.
Official Ceremony
Join Mayor Don Iveson, along with special guests, including former Mayor Jan Reimer, Architect Gene Dub, and Indigenous dancers and drummers as they mark City Hall’s silver anniversary!
Time: 12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Place: City Room, City Hall
Entertainment & Activities
Take part in the free, family fun! Join one of the free guided tours to learn more about municipal government, discover Edmonton’s past, and marvel at City Hall’s art and architecture. Programming will include entertainment, games and activities, draws and giveaways, birthday cupcakes and ice cream.
Time: Noon – 6 p.m.
Place: City Room & City Hall Plaza
Admission: Free
