Canadian City Proposals

Well it seems that we need a little help to move this thread back to proposals in Canadian cities. I don't normally contribute but I managed to find this:

This is copied over from the Victoria construction thread. I think it warrants recognition because it is a proposal for a new tallest for the city.

Any proposal in any Canadian city is technically worthy of being here. . . and Victoria has lots of nice stuff, it should be on this thread a lot more.

Really dislike 400 West Georgia. Probably an interesting initial concept but mangled in the process.

I like it. I'd like it more if they got rid of the green stuff and showed off the structure more.

The Junction has a split personality; 263 needs to be curtain wall to be respectable and you know it won't be; 200 St Clair is a tinge better than the usual inspired 🞵🞵🞵🞵.

400 West Georgia looks pretty cool. I wonder how much they will need to irrigate those walls though as Vancouver seems to be getting much hotter dryers summers.

"The Junction" I'm not sure of, it might end up looking nice or it might go right into the Ugly thread. Curtain wll on top would look better or at least black brick. The best feature is the NEON sign which I hope makes it into the final design.

Junction House? It's by Superkül, who has a pretty solid portfolio.

If you meant 400 W Georgia, then it seems to be Merrick Architecture. But it's a Westbank project, and they also have a pretty good track record.

Junction appears disjointed. Agree about the curtain wall.
